How much does Wix cost?
Wix is our top rated website builder for a myriad of reasons including its ease of use, capacity to create beautiful websites, and customization options for any creator. Hands down, we love Wix.
But we noticed there is a little bit of confusion on the world wide web about Wix’s pricing and plans. Wix for business plans range from $27–$59 a month, while the more basic or individual Wix plans range from $16–$45 a month.
Each price point gets you or your business a different set of features, including online payment processing and custom logos. Read on for a full breakdown of Wix’s plans, prices, and features.
Wix’s pricing structure
Wix has three different tiers for website building. These include four plans for professional sites, three plans for business and ecommerce sites, and a whole other tier for “enterprised plans” which can customize to specific brands. That last tier of plans give no price information and require the user to request a call from Wix in order to create something unique.
For the purposes of this article, we are only focusing on that second tier, the tier of plans for business and ecommerce sites.
Business & eCommerce Plans
With each of these plans, Wix offers hundreds of templates and unlimited pages per site. Within each of these plans, there are great perks that simplify accepting payments, creating a media library, and allowing ad vouchers.
The biggest difference between these plans is storage space. The Basic plan only allows for 50 GB of storage and 5 hours of video, the Unlimited plan allows for 100 GB of storage and 10 hours of video, and the VIP plan has unlimited space for storage and video.
The most useful thing about Wix is that the company makes sure to include as many types of businesses as possible. There are features that are specifically tailored to online booking platforms, ticket and event management, taking online orders, managing hotel reservations, fitness-focused businesses, and art and creative work. It’s encouraging to see Wix recognize that there are so many different kinds of industries.
Basic website plans
If you are interested in more basic plans, you can definitely use one of the more basic plans. Even though they are not tailored specifically for small businesses, they still have enough features to get you started on the right path for business success.
The only catch is that you cannot accept any online payments with these more basic plans. If you need to be able to accept payments on your site, then you have to use a business or ecommerce plan. The plans below will not cut it.

The takeaway
Wix is our top choice because there really are countless features available for countless business needs and it is such an easy platform to use.
The best part is that within each price point in the business and ecommerce plans, you can still create a strong site that includes more complex business needs like being able to sell subscriptions and offer ad vouchers. You won’t be disappointed no matter the price point that fits your budget.
